When arriving in Tokyo the first piece of apparel that really caught my eye was the workmen outside our hotel who had these amazing trousers!!
I found out they were called 'Tobi' and here are some images from a catalogue for construction workers.
...and from then I was hooked on uniforms/workwear, I noticed special features such as back pleats and intricate detailing i.e. top stitching and cute buttons etc. to bring life to a simple silhouette.
